Angèlica Andreua (també Angèlica Justiniano) va fer les pintures decoratives de l’orgue de la parròquia de Sant Jaume d’Ulldemolins i té l’honor de ser la primera dona artista catalana amb la seva signatura a una obra documentada.

Farem una activitat conjunta amb l'historiador de l'art Manel Trenchs. 

Proposta d’activitats:

10:30: visita al santuari de la Mare de Déu de Loreto i les pintures neobizantines de l’interior.

11:15: visita a la casa natal de l’arquitecte Jaume Amigó.

12:00: visita a l’interior de l’església de Sant Jaume d’Ulldemolins.

14:30: dinar en format taula-rodona i col·loqui (màxim per a 25 persones).

Angèlica Andreua (also known as Angèlica Justiniano) created the decorative paintings on the organ of the parish church of Sant Jaume in Ulldemolins. She is recognised as the first Catalan woman artist known to have signed a documented work of art.

This event is being organised in collaboration with art historian Manel Trenchs.

Programme:

10:30 am: Visit to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Loreto and its Neo-Byzantine interior paintings.

11:15 am: Visit to the house where architect Jaume Amigó was born.

12:00 pm: Visit to the interior of the Church of Sant Jaume in Ulldemolins.

2:30 pm: Lunch followed by a round-table discussion (limited to 25 participants).
